warnung! ich spreche nicht was du "gutes deutsch" nennen kann
ich habe es [Nacht des Raben] endlich letzte woche gekauft, weil ich lang genüg auf die englische version gewartet hätte (:S), und habe es inzwischen so viel gespielt, das ich irre werd von meinem alten geforce 2 32mb graka o_O.. und ich habe ein Ati Radeon 9200SE gekauft.. allein, ich habe damit eines problem.. irgendwo ins spiel sehe ich "tears" durch's scherm gehen und ich habe mich gefragt ob jemand anders das auch hat..
ich habe mit andere spielen aber keine problemen damit :/..

ich habe auch gothic 1 gespielt.. es regnete nicht.. allein schnee

was ich damit meine sind die Dinge die siehst als horizontale Fehler ins spiel.. genau wie du hast wenn Vsync nicht eingeschaltet ist..

entschuldigung für mein deutsch nochmal.. aber eine warnung ist benötigt ;p
gothic 2 (Nacht des Raben+2.6 patch installiert) soll nicht arbeiten unter 1024x768 mit den neuen Catalyst 4.2 Treiber.. ich habe ein:
Athlon XP 2000+,
512MB pc2700
Ati Radeon 9200
SB Live Player 1024..
es kann sein das es nur mit Radeon9200s das gefall ist, aber obwohl Gothic in 800x600 ohne problemen aufladet, gibt's ein DXDERR_UNSUPPORTED halt error wenn du das probiert in 1024x768..
or, in english for those that just couldn't understand what the hell i'm trying to say in german ;) (i'll learn it before i die tho :P)
catalyst 4.2+Gothic 2 (expansion) is a No go in 1024.. will work in 800x600 (or 640, but i didn't try that).. but as soon as you switch to 1024 you get the D3DERR thing described above.. blame ati for releasing another retarded driver i guess.. and just stick to the 4.1 drivers if you want to play it in a decent reso

yay! i scared ppl so much with my version of german they're talking english to me now :P
but no, i installed DX9b, didn't work, went back to DX8.1, didn't work, uninstalled Catalyst 4.2, rebooted, and installed 4.1 (with dx9b again), and it worked again..
so it's just an issue with 4.2 and gothic2 i guess

naw.. there's no trouble at all with the 4.1 ones.. i just updated em coz newer drivers usually are better (although avi can't seem to program properly :@)..
the game works fine with the 4.1 drivers.. and i can play it again now that i went back to them.. i'm just warning others not to switch to the 4.2 ones :)
and your english is a lot better than my german

hehe.. same here :P.. i can understand german fairly well.. but speaking/typing it is sort of awkward
.. i come up with all these words that mean sort of the same but can't be used in the context :D(see the above for reference ;))
but yea.. i just got bored waiting for an english release of Nacht des Raben (that prolly won't be there).. so i finally got the german one :)
