I know I'm maybe impatient, but it's my love for the game that keeps me asking. I'm happy for all "GOTHIC"-lovers the Editing Tools are coming in the near future. The E3 is finished for a while now! So is there any news about the publisher(s) for the International release. I've read reviews, previews, first looks, all kind of information etc... about the most different games presented at E3 but nothing about "GOTHIC" (Oh yes,... one English review). Was the game presented behind closed doors? The translation in English must almost be finished by now. Can you (Piranha Bytes) please give me a little bit of information of the International releasedateprogress! The demo has no secrets anymore and I almost bought the German full version the past days! Thank you very much!! |

Hi Bourrie , PB did a very very good job with Gothic , because it is one of the best games i ever have played. But it would be sad if only a couple of guys inside Germany can enjoy this Masterpiece. I hope for you and all guys out of Germany that PB find one publisher to give all RPG Friends all over the world this wonderfull feeling of playing Gothic........... Since Monkey Island One, Ultima Underworld and System Shock I did not have any more this feeling ,but Gothic did it again! The way I see it dilivering an English version is crucial to making this game the international success that it should be. Just think of how much money PB could make with the release that would push Gothic 2,3,4,5,6,7,8..... way up on their priority list! Anyway PB Guys please give the man an answer! |

Thanks for your support Orc's Nightmare and ZappasGhost, but I think PB is not allowed to make a statement on that matter now, or they really don't know anything about it. I've asked this English release-questions on the two official German forums, and I've sent PB two e-mails but received no answers at all. So, I'll have to wait I presume. But I've read on the site RPGDot, something is coming (pleasant surprise) very soon for the English speaking world. I hope it's true. As you all have the chance to give your wills about the Add-On of "GOTHIC", I've noticed there are much very good ideas on the replys. I really don't understand why PB hasn't found an International publisher before the game was finished! The game is the best I ever saw in the 3thpersonRPG-genre. See you all, Bourry |

I dont now that is true, i read hear for any time that they had found a pubilsher and that the translation is in working or ready, but it musnt be true and so you can only hope and wait (my english is bad, but i hope you understand it) |
