Stupid ladders!

hey in the old mine in the room where you kill the 3 minecrawlers and pick up the cog or wheel thing and you have to climb back out of the hole on the ladders? When i get to the 2nd set of ladders i climb up them but when i reach the top i fall back down!! any help would be great.

Perhaps it is another letter the letter where you can see how strong you are and so on!

Hi Jem, i had the same problem with those nasty ladders. It´s a bit tricky, but it´s possible.. just climb up and during the moment your character reaches the top - press the "jump" key. It may take some attempts, but i´m sure you will manage it. Keep on trying, all you need ist a bit of luck and the right timing.

And don´t forget: Pick up the gear wheel lying on the floor next to the machine before leaving. And once you´ve left the ladder.. SAVE YOUR GAME! :D

first i had the same problem, but if you pick up the gear-wheel, than you will not have problems with the ladders.

If you still can´t manage it, there´s still another oportiunity. To the right of the Ladders you want to use are some platforms. It is possible to climb up there and jump to the exit.

I think in MichaDDs case it was just a coincident. The ladders are slightly to short. That´s a bug and they don´t grow by collecting the wheel.

i think it only works if you've learned acrobatics from buster in the new camp.

if you don't manage to jump to the exit then use the F8-cheat. if you heal yourself completely first then it's even not a cheat :)

No, it works also if you haven't learned acrobatics ;)

And it's the easiest way in my opinion.
