Sorry for posting in english. I am looking for a forum (Message board) on Goth in English.
Please let me know if there are any. I need help.
I need to know how to un-jam a Winch. I have 3 templars to help me in the beginning of Chapter 2, and need to know how to open the winch. It tells me it is jammed. And no one else will talk to me from what I can see.

I figured it out. It was mainly due to the bug. And I think I know how to cause the bug. If you Use the winch and just 'touch' the uparrow key, it causes the winch to jam. but if you HOLD DOWN the up key, then it works fine. I was able to re-load a game and use the winch properly.

1. I don't know a Gothic forum in english
2. You need an toothwheel (I don't know, if that are the right word for the german word Zahnrad). You found it in a cave of the oldmine. There are a few minecrawler but you can kill them with a distanceweapon. When you are strong is the fight with the sword or an axe also no problem. When you have the toothwheel, you must speak with Ian, the guard of the oldmine. After the conversation you can go to the winch, the man open then.

the whole quest:
1. talk to ian
2. get the cogwheel
3. talk to ian again
4. goto asgahn
5. talk to him
6. get 2 templars
7. go back and talk to asghan again
8. use the winch
9. go in and kill all
10. get the eggs
11. talk to ian
12. goto kalom
13. ~done~
btw, there is a old bug in the winch
if the winch @8. is still jammed:
open the console (type b marvin b and press F2) and use the ztrigger evt_om_crawler_01 command to unlock it :)
